Accounting is not just numbers to me.
My work focuses on Finnish accounting, payroll and practical advice for companies operating in Finland.

Finland is my main professional focus.
I have worked in accounting since 2005. After moving to Finland, I decided to redirect my expertise and study Finnish accounting and payroll in depth.
Since 2014, the financial and payroll side of doing business in Finland has been the main focus of my work.
At first, the Finnish system was a new world for me too — different rules, taxes, employer obligations and collective agreements. The deeper I went into it, the more interesting it became.
I like to understand how things actually work.
I have worked with many different companies and situations over the years — from day-to-day accounting and payroll to more complex tax questions, collective agreements, authority enquiries and cross-border activities.
For me, it is not enough that a document has been entered correctly into accounting software. It is important to understand why the transaction arose, how the business actually works and what obligations follow from it.
I keep learning through daily work, more complex cases, training and changes in legislation. When a new or unusual question arises, I find out how the situation should be handled correctly.
A good accountant should not only say what to do, but also explain why it is done and what the entrepreneur should pay attention to.
